The CMRR NHP group is focused on developing approaches to ultra high resolution functional and structural imaging in rhesus macaques and marmosets. This requires strong interactions with the MR engineering group to develop form fitting radio frequency coils that are specialized for the need of non human primates. The group additionally develops analytic approaches to handling and processing large scale NHP datasets as well as working on multi-modal approaches integrating chemo and optogenetics, electrophysiology and optical imaging approaches.
